What's happening to my nail varnish (polish)?!?!?

I use a brand new nail varnish about 10 times or so and then it starts getting really thick and impossible to apply very nicely. Why does it do this and does anyone have any ideas to prevent or help it??What's happening to my nail varnish (polish)?!?!?
Some polishes especially heavy duty top coats get thick when the are oxidized. That means the more you open and use the thick top coat the quicker it will thicken up. To help solve this problem, use a few drops of acetone or polish thinner. (not nail polish remover) Hope this helpsWhat's happening to my nail varnish (polish)?!?!?
If you leave the lid of a tin of paint it slowly gets hard nail varnish is the same , see if you can dilute it down with acetone of similar product
awww bless
you should not use it more than 10 times, duh
I have no idea, why did you ask me?
maybe its just crapy nail polish? you could ask a mani and pedi pro though.
Get a medicine dropper from a local pharmacy and non acetone fingernail polish remover. Put a few drops of it in said polish and shake...

Works every time.
When you use your polish wipe the top of the bottle to remove any left over polish. If left to dry it it leave,s a small gap which allow,s air to enter the bottle. Over time the polish dry,s out. It only take,s a sec to wipe the top each time and you should see a difference.
It gets old. More expensive brands like Mary Kay don't do that very quick. But i'm serious, they are REALLY expensive. But that's why it does that.
Shake it up really well, roll it around your palms, get it loosened up. Plus bigger bottles tend to not glump as fast. Also shake every bottle of polish periodicly to prevent any lumps and then do it for a few minutes before you go to use it. If that doesn't help invest in a better brand or one that is less of a quick dry because those will dry up when exposed to air since they are designed to. Hope this helps!
put less u shud jus put bout 2 and then some tuffin
somehow it's getting air inside the bottle and is basically drying up....is the top cracked? Even a microscopic teeny tiny crack can ruin good nail polish.

In the meantime, there is ';thinner'; you can buy---look for it carefully in the polish aisle at the local pharmacy, etc.
maybe you should try a better qualtiy of nail polish. alot of nail polish is like that. you just have to find a company you like.
You can purchase nail lacquer thinner for this problem,or get a better quality polish.I sell 2 professional brands that work great,Opi and Zoya.
Maybe it's the brand some of the cheaper kinds don't last very long. Try just a little bit of remover in the bottle shake it up real good, this will sometimes thin it out so that it can be used.
put a little bit of nail polish remover (a littttttle not too much) inside the nail polish..close it then shake the nail polish around a little and it should be better. works like a charm all the time(proffesionals do this)!
Its drying out for some reason. Try adding a little nail polish remover to the bottle that will help dilute it.
You need to add acetone and keep the lids real tight.
Add a few drops of nail polish remover and shake really well. I have found that the only nail polish that dosen't do this for me is MAC cosmetics nail color. If you can get MAC, try it. I know you can get it online. It costs more than your regular nail polishes, but it's worth it because you can actually use the whole bottle!

Good luck!!
Absolutely no idea or interest. Hope this helps.
when it starts to thicken, apply a few drops of non acetone nail polish remover and shake it up It will make the polish a little thinner but shouldn't affect the color.
d.k.?I bet it wasn't my bff Becka.
