Depends on the material!
Soak the stain only in a dish with nail polish remover (dish will depending on the size of the stain). Then wash the garment as soon as possible after the stain has been removed. You may need quite a bit of nail polish remover if stain is quite large.
Or you can lay the garment over an old towel or cloth and pour the nail polish remover on to let it soak through , again wash the garment as soon as possible after the stain has been removed, as this solution is highly flammablePlease can anybody tell me how to get nail varnish off clothes.?

Try a little bit of nail varnish remover, be careful because it can react and you may end up making it worse. Dab it a little and see if that does the trick.
nail varnish remover??? use a tooth brush with it, what material are we talking about here?
