Stained nails from wearing nail varnish?

I've had green nail varnish on for a few days and it has stained my nails a greenish/yellow colour. Is there anyway of getting rid of the stain? Also is there a way of avoiding getting stained nails, is there something i can use before i put nail varnish on?Stained nails from wearing nail varnish?
I think you're stuck until it grows out, and this staining can happen with ANY colour of nail varnish.

You can dip your nails in milk or baking soda ( make a paste with water) and then use a buffer and buff them, before aplying any nail anamel try using a base coate i.e. a transparent coat on the nails followed by your nail clour, also go in for a loreal or a Mabelline brand as they are friendly to wear on...
Don't worry, I've been wearing black nail varnish recently and kept layering more on when a bit started to chip. I took the whole lot of this morning and my nails were practically grey, but they're already starting to fade.
Well, don't worry, it'll go away, and the only way i know to avoid it is put a clear coat on first.

I had this happen to me before i wore pink nail polish for like months straight and never took it off and when i did my nails were yellow (toes) you just have to let them grow out. it sucks i know !!
