What else can you use to remove nail varnish?

i have run out of nail varnish remover but i have to remove the stuff i am wearing, does anyone know of any easy ways to get it off apart from scratching it off?????What else can you use to remove nail varnish?

Hairspray works
Sellotape. I used it ages ago when mine chipped. Work it into the creases of your nail and rip off. Just buffer your nail afterwards.
Try rubbing alcohol, but you might have to put some effort into it. If you're an artist, or know of any, paintbrush cleaner will work a treat, too.
use a bottle of acetone, but be careful or you'll mess up your hands.
Use the same nail polish and quick remove it before it dries.
a knife
i put a coat of a light color nail polish on then rub it off before it dries. It makes the original nail polish liquid again :)
