Good luck and merry xmas! How do you get nail varnish out of a carpet ?
Dear Revolutio:
Be very careful! Call a rug cleaning company such as Viagra Carpet Cleaners (whoever you choose). OR, you can call a carpet store. Tell them what occurred and if they would please advise you. They often give out ';tips,'; if you are polite and explain you are in deep trouble (!)
They like to generate goodwill for their store or cleaning services. Follow their advice.
Best regards, Lana
Using a nail polish remver will probably melt most carpets since acrylic and nylon can be dissovled with the remover and most carpets are at least made partly of those fabrics. Dab a SMALL amount on an inconspicous area and if the carpet is not eaten away, continue, otherwise you may want to move furniture to cover it, lol!

You could ask a bit nicer. Now I am not telling you.
generally you dont to be honest, you buy a new carpet as it can be a nightmare. But i would try the nail varnish remover, maybe diluted as it may get rid of some of the colour in the carpet but thats a guess
nail varnish remover!
maybe nail varnish remover
You might want to try Goo-Gone. It helps with a lot of other spills, too. Like some of the others said, test on a little bit to make sure its ok, or if you fail, put a rug over it. Good luck!
