Make sure your nails are clean, dry ,and have no oil or lotion on them before you put it on. Wash and dry them thoroughly and wipe them down with polish remover because the remover will remove oil from the nails. The cheapest stuff will even stay on if you do that. Use only 2 thin layers and let those cure for a day before adding more. I know a woman whose nails are really thick because she does hers that way, and must have about 10 layers of polish on them. How do u stop nail varnish from lifting?

get a decent nail varnish, the cheap ones are just that, cheap and nasty!!!

i would go for a YSL varnish!! and you also need to get a good base coat, maybe stop at a nail shop (where they false nails)

they always have good base coats!! also you need a top coat!!
the most important thing are clean, fat and oil free nails. varnish remover is a good trick to get all dirt from your nails, then directly paint.

start lacquing with a small streak in the middle, then the outer streaks. take only so much varnish that you can easily put it on - NOT MORE.

you can try to use a base coat and a top coat to seal, but this could even worsen your problem.

usually, my varnish starts to loosen when I do housework like dishwashing or cleaning the bath.

good luck, anyway.
But on at least 2 coats and then put on a nail protector varnish!
Base coat.

Two thin coats of nail color.

Colorless polish.

And the answer to your problem: NAIL HARDENER.

It prevents the nail varnishes from chipping off easily.
