I did it yesterday and only just realized that it had actually gone every were!
Thanks! How do you get nail varnish stains out of carpets?
Hi nail polish is very easy to remove
first do not try to pi__ on it as one of the answers states. firstly imagine the smell after it drys second if your carpet is wool when urine crystallizes, it becomes alkaline and will bleach your carpet yellow. notice i said bleach not stain. this can not be removed ( urine must be removed within 24 hours )
if you do not want a carpet cleaner to remove the varnish. he would use a solvent. you can use nail varnish remover BUT test in a hidden area and if your carpet is multi coloured test each colour that you will need to put the remover on. then place a little on a white cloth not direct on to the carpet ( if the remover seeps down on to the carpet backing it may start to brake down the backing/glue/or make the colour of the back wick though on to the carpet ) press on the stain and keep moving the cloth to a clean section as the nail varnish is removed. never rub this may make your problem bigger by spreding the stain. after you are finished rince with some fresh water again not soaking the carpet then dry over night you can also use householsd ammonia see the stain guide 2 at www.ritz-cleaners.co.uk there are also dozens of other stains listed showing how to remove themHow do you get nail varnish stains out of carpets?
Use some nail polish remover and a cotton ball....keep dabbing the polish until it starts to come off. Once you get most of it off try using a small pair of scissors and clipping off the rest.
nail varnish remover
I usually find that pissing on a stain helps make it better. And ultimately removes it.
just use a good carpet cleaner eg . 1001 or you could try bleach
