I've never worn nail varnish before and just figured it would be easy enough but turns out you have to be carefull and concentrate and I can't do it its all uneven and blotchy and I can't help but get it on my skin. I went for purple to match my eyes.Can anyone give me tips on how to apply nail varnish?
Practice makes perfect, keep at it and you will improve.
I start in the middle of the nail near the base and then go to the right and left sides of the nail. Remember to paint each part with one stroke and try not to go over it again because it will either leave a ridge or make the varnish blotchy. If you have to touch up the nail, do so either after its dry with another coat or clean the nail and start over again.
A little baby oil on the cuticle helps as well in case you get some varnish on your skin it helps to keep it from staining.Can anyone give me tips on how to apply nail varnish?
when putting on nail varnish, apply some baby oil around ur nail/cuticle. so if u accidentally paint ur skin or somethin', u will be able 2 rub it off easily.
It's really simple, my mom used to show me when i was little. The easiest way is to apply nailpolish in three strokes: centre, left, right. It's all you need really. And if you try not to polish until the very bottom of your nail, then it ends up looking less messy too. I hope this helps. And first let one hand dry for a few minutes before doing the other hand.
